About this site
Search for any Indian entrance exam and you will find dozens of pages competing to publish its dates. Many are wrong, most are stale, and almost none say when they were last checked. A student who trusts one of them can lose a year.
So we don't publish them
There are no exam dates, fees or eligibility cutoffs anywhere on this site. Not because they do not matter — because they matter too much to be sourced from a page like this one. Every exam guide links directly to the body that runs the exam, prominently, near the top.
This is enforced rather than promised: the content schema has no fields for dates or fees, and an exam guide cannot be published at all without an official source link. Adding such a field would mean editing the schema deliberately.
What we do publish
Structure, which is stable. What an exam is for, what its stages are, what preparation genuinely demands. This changes slowly and is where most pages are vague.
Study technique, which does not change at all. How memory works is not revised annually, so these pages can be written properly once. This half of the site is based on findings from cognitive psychology that have replicated consistently — including the awkward finding that several of the most popular study methods perform poorly.
On the evidence
We describe how strong the evidence is rather than presenting everything as settled. Some of it — the spacing effect, testing effect — is about as well established as findings in psychology get. Other parts are more qualified, and the pages say so.
Corrections
If an exam's structure has changed or something here is wrong, please tell us. Corrections take priority over new pages.
